FLT Counterbalance Driver

Location: Runcorn
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour + Attendance bonus of £100 paid each quarter to qualifying staff. The overtime rate is £17.50 per hour after 182 hours worked within each calendar month.
Hours of Work: Any 4-5 shifts out of 7. This role will include working weekends and a mixture of days and nights. Shift hours are 07:00 to 19:00/ 19:00 to 07:00.
Contract: Temporary with potential to become permanent
We are currently recruiting several experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers for a well-known and established Drinks Logistics Client based in Runcorn.
All positions will be recruited on a temporary to permanent basis.
As an FLT Driver, your duties will include:
- Accurate, safe, and timely loading and unloading of goods in line with company policies and standard operating procedures.
- A successful candidate will also be required to work on a production line unloading pallets of stock and labelling them.
- Handballing products and placing goods in the designated areas whilst ensuring accuracy.
- Checking the goods delivery against the delivery paperwork.
- General housekeeping duties.
Skills and experience required of an FLT Driver include:
- At least 1-year experience driving an FLT Counterbalance truck and ideally a PPT or LLOP truck.
- FLT Counterbalance certificate (RTITB/ITSAAR or Inhouse).
- Previous experience in the Logistics or Manufacturing industry.
- Good verbal and written English skills.
- Flexible to working days, nights, and weekends as part of a weekly rota.
- Attention to detail.
- A "Can Do" attitude.
