Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Trainee/Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin or enhance their career in quantity surveying, providing valuable hands-on experience and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for residential projects.
• Support senior quantity surveyors in monitoring project finances and managing costs.
• Participate in the procurement process and help with contract administration.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather data and provide insights on costs.
• Conduct site visits to assist with measurement and valuation of work.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or currently studying).
• A strong interest in construction and quantity surveying.
• Excellent analytic and numerical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with cost management software is a plus.
