Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client - A main distribution centre for major high street supermarket focused on homeware products.

Staffline is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives in Sherburn-in-Elmet.

There is a dedicated bus service from LS8, LS10 & LS11 pick-up points!

The rate of pay is:
- £11.95 per hour basic rate from Day 1
- Night premium is available between 10pm-6am - £2.36 extra per hour.

A good opportunity for overtime is available and is paid at time and a quarter.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, either on a 8 or 12-hour shift pattern. The hours of work are:

- 7am to 7pm (4 days on 4 days off)
- 7pm to 7am (4 days on 4 days off)
(Various 8-hour shift patterns may be available across a 7 day period.)

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties include:

- Goods In/Unloading
- Put away
- Picking (either manual or via automated functions)
- Despatch/Loading
- Returns

This role will involve lots of manual handling and some heavy lifting up to 25KG.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have accuracy whilst picking at speed and show good attention to detail.

Applicants must be physically fit as there is a lot of manual handling and some heavy lifting up to 25KG.

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
