Role Overview:

As the Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the design and development of our electronics projects. You will lead a passionate team, oversee project execution, and ensure that we deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Inspire and manage a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Project Management: Develop and implement detailed project plans, manage timelines, and ensure successful execution of system-level engineering projects, including electronics, hardware, firmware, and software.
  • Specification Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to create engineering specifications based on customer requirements and market insights.
  • Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets and resource allocation to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Supplier Coordination: Work with third-party suppliers to guide the design and delivery process from prototypes to final products.
  • Customer Engagement: Liaise with customers in partnership with sales and marketing teams to gather feedback and insights.
  • Progress Tracking: Set priorities, track project progress, and provide regular updates to the management team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and drive initiatives for ongoing improvements within the engineering team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in electronics engineering management or a similar role.
  • Strong background in electronics design and development.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
