Job Title: CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator or Setter/Operator
Shift: Days
Rate: £16 - £17.50 for Setter Operator and £18 - £21.50 for Programmer
The Job
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC Milling machines, specifically Fanuc controls.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce precision components.
- Proving out programs (if a programmer), fault finding, and optimizing performance.
- Ensuring quality and accuracy of machined parts through self-inspection.
- Tool setting & offset adjustments
Requirements
- Experienced in the setting and operating of CNC milling machines
- General high standard of engineering ability
- Experience in aerospace component manufacture is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
