This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing independent environmental specialist firm that offers expert compliance services to the built environment. They are currently seeking a Trainee Energy Assessor to join their Compliance team in Nottingham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce SAP assessments and statements, along with sustainability reports and strategies.
  • Conduct energy assessments and EPCs for new builds, ensuring compliance with Part L regulations.
  • Collaborate with the construction team and clients to provide advice and solutions that help meet project targets.
  • Develop energy strategies and decarbonization reports.
  • Explore additional industry areas, such as air pressure testing.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Some experience or knowledge from the energy insdustry.
  • An energy assessor qualification, such as OCDEA or NDEA, would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software like IES-VE or SBEM.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
