This role involves providing specialized support for archaeological and heritage aspects across various multi-disciplinary projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Support and Reporting: Creating high-quality, research-backed reports and managing project deliverables in line with established guidelines.
  • Site Work and Assessments: Conducting site visits, surveys, and setting assessments for project insights and reporting.
  • Consultation and Client Communication: Liaising with statutory bodies and clients to provide archaeology and heritage guidance, often in collaboration with senior colleagues.
  • Cross-disciplinary Knowledge: Understanding a multi-disciplinary approach, the UK Planning System, and relevant environmental legislation.
  • Technical Competencies: Skills in data analysis (e.g., heritage data, LiDAR), various survey techniques, and management of subcontractors are required.
  • Educational and Professional Requirements: A degree in archaeology or heritage is essential, with fieldwork experience and membership in professional bodies preferred.
