FTH Hire Group is one of the largest and fastest growing independent plant and tool hire companies in the UK, with nineteen depots across the South of England, Wales and Scotland. As a result of our ambitious growth plans, we are looking to add additional high calibre people to our growing business.

As a member of our Finance Team, you will be reporting into and working closely with our Finance Manager, playing a key part in ensuring the production of timely, accurate and relevant management accounts and financial statements whilst ensuring tight internal controls are in place.

Responsibilities will include:

Production of the monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.

To produce analytical and BI reports to Head of Departments and Senior Leadership.

Ensure monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts including; reconciliations, prepayments and accruals

To produce a full monthly commentary analysing performance against key KPIs.

Assistance in the budget/reforecasting process

Support the sales function in an FP&A capacity, producing relevant reports and statistics as required.

Experience/Skills

Minimum of qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

Strong Excel and Accountancy system skills (SAGE 200 and Syrinx)
