Salary: £24,000- 29,000 dependent on experience

I am actively looking for a passionate Junior Architectural Technologist to join an innovative Architectural practice who specialise in residential projects as well as delivering a number of retail and commercial projects. This dynamic practice offers extensive expertise across varying scale projects from one off houses to big housing developments. They have earnt themselves a great reputation for delivering creative, cutting edge projects and has allowed them to cultivate strong relationship with several high profile clients and continue to grow their client list. This successful practice are keen to continue their growth with the addition of a Junior Architectural technologist to join their friendly team in Barnsley.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience on a mix of projects in a supportive and collaborative environment whilst developing their technical detailing and drawing abilities. The practice also offer strong progression opportunities.

The successful Junior Architectural Technologist will be a confident user of Revit with strong technical abilities and driven to continue progression.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Junior Architectural Technologist:

• Ideally be a CIAT member
• Degree or HND/HNC in Architectural technology
• Ideally some experience post qualification in a UK practice
• Strong technical abilities
• Confident using Revit
• Strong portfolio
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Proactive and positive approach to self-development
• Be able to work well within a team environment as well as independently
• Confident producing high quality technical drawings
• Through knowledge of current building regulations
• Driven to keep up to date with latest software and designs
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Live locally to the Barnsley area
