An exciting role for a construction professional adept in Health and Safety to join a mid-tier Civils Contractor with large projects around Ireland including the landmark Children's Hospital in Dublin. 

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversight and Responsibility for the supporting the ongoing maintenance and development of the Health & Safety Management Systems

• Carry out risk assessments across sites and identify potential hazards where appropriate 

• Tool box talks and staff meetings.

• Maintain, update and draft RAMS for multiple sites

• Coordinate, manage and deliver EHS related training, (company requirements, procedures, new legal requirements etc.).

• Perform inductions, staff training etc.;

• To report on incidents and accidents and monitor follow up actions;

• Carry out H&S audits and inspections and monitor objectives.

• Issue and track PPE requirements.

• Ensure health and safety documentation is up to date

IDEAL CANDIDATE 

• 3+ years experience in a similar role

• Relevant Health and Safety Qualification - Lvl 6 or Higher 

• Construction Site Experience is essential 

• Full clean drivers licence required.
