HLTA - Bolton:
Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced and dedicated HLTA to join one of our lovely schools in Bolton. The successful candidate will have previous experience as a HLTA and be able to lead lessons in the teacher's absence. They should have an excellent understanding of the general curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing specific support and interventions for KS2 students across all curriculum areas
- Preparing resources and areas within the setting
- Assisting in the daily activities in the classroom
- Working with individuals on learning and development activities
- Liasing with parents and other staff members when needed
Position Details:
- Location: Bolton
- Position: HLTA
- Hours- 8:15am-3:45pm
- Full time/part time: Full time only
- Minimum rate of pay: £100 per day
- Type of work: Temporary
- Start date: Jan 2025
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Team Teach qualification would be highly desirable
- Previous experience working as a HLTA is essential
- Level 3 or higher Teaching Assistant Qualification
- Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
