Operations Manager – Plumbing & Heating

£55,000 to  £60,000 (DOE)

My client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in the plumbing and heating sector to join their dynamic team in Wigan. This is a key leadership role where you will oversee the operational functions of multiple projects, ensuring quality service delivery, and driving efficiency across all sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations within the plumbing and heating division, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Manage and coordinate field teams, ensuring adherence to health & safety regulations and industry standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships and resolve any operational issues.
• Monitor project performance, implement operational improvements, and ensure KPIs are met.
• Collaborate with the senior management team to drive business growth and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including gas safety, building codes, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager role, specifically within the plumbing and heating sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing, heating systems, and gas safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on driving operational efficiency.
• Full UK driving license is essential.
