Location:  South of Norwich
Shift Pattern: Fortnightly alternating shifts (6 am-2 pm, 2 pm-10 pm)

 
We are recruiting a Production Operative to join a well-established, family-run business located on the outskirts of Norwich, Norfolk. This permanent position offers direct employment from day one within a supportive work environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery to ensure optimal quality and output.
  • Perform quality checks during production.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Take samples of finished products to assess quality.
  • Provide cover for team members during night shifts as needed.
 The Ideal Candidate
  • Able to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically capable of handling ingredients up to 25kg.
  • Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in shift work, including night shifts, is preferred.
  • Manufacturing or forklift experience is advantageous.
  • Must have access to reliable transport to commute to work.
Pay Rates
  • Basic rate: £13.70 per hour, with enhanced overtime rates for additional hours.
