The role:
This role, reporting to the Senior Bid Manager, focuses on leading and managing bids within the Sales & Marketing team to deliver timely, high-quality proposals for new and existing customers. The Bid Manager is responsible for the entire bid process, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company strategy. Key duties include developing a bid plan, collaborating with Sales on win strategies, and coordinating with teams for accurate content. The position also involves proposal management, editorial oversight, and facilitating smooth contract handovers, while promoting continuous improvement and maintaining compliance standards for export bids.

What we want from you:

• Proven history of successfully leading winning bids in previous bid management positions within the defence sector.
• Skilled and confident in leading and motivating multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experienced in managing bids valued over £1M.
• Proficient in developing bid plans and schedules.
• Strong background in working with customers to understand and address their challenges.
