Elevation Recruitment have the pleasure of working with one of the leading Quarry industries within Barnetby. With being one of the leading Quarry sites they are extremely busy, and looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established team!

Salary: £40,370 per annum
Location: Barnetby
Working Hours:
- 2 x mornings 7am-3pm Mon-Fri
- 1 x afters 2pm-10pm Mon-Fri
- 1 x nights 6pm-3am Sun-Thurs
This site is extremely heavy based, and will involve maintenance on machinery such as Crushers and conveyors. The working conditions can be challenging and any successful applicant must be happy to work in these conditions.
Duties of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
- Routine maintenance
- Repairs as necessary to ensure that equipment is fit for purpose.
- Attending to breakdowns
- Inspections and safety checks
- Execute the maintenance plan across all areas of site
- Ensure all plant equipment is maintained and performs to levels that do not impact customer service or compromise EH&S
Desired experience:
- Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering
- Ideally have 3 years experience within a similar environment/ job role
- Have experience of Fault finding withing previous roles.
- Must be happy within a team environment, whilst also being capable of working from own initiative
- Must have a ‘can do’, enthusiastic attitude to work and every task completing
