Temporary Nursery Staff Needed – Flexible Hours in Clapham

Perms Direct, a family-run consultancy specializing in placing skilled early years professionals in nurseries across London, is currently seeking flexible, temporary staff to join our network of nurseries. If you’re passionate about early childhood education, hold a Level 3 qualification, and are available for flexible hours, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role

We’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who can commit to a minimum of 2-3 days a week, between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00. You will play an essential role in providing high-quality care and supporting the development of young learners in our partner nurseries.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the day-to-day activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Assisting with a range of activities to engage and nurture children’s learning and development.
• Creating a safe, welcoming environment and building positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
• Observing children’s progress, contributing to individual learning plans, and ensuring high standards of care.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (essential).
• Availability for at least 2-3 days per week, with flexibility to work between 08:00 - 18:00.
• Passion for working with young children and a warm, caring approach.
• Experience in a nursery or preschool environment is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
