We are looking for Electrical Project Engineers to start on two different sites either on a contract basis or as a PERM role direct with our client.

One is a biotech site in Billingham & the other is a data centre in Slough.

Our client is a leading engineering contracting company providing mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, fire protection & maintenance solutions to their clients worldwide.

The role

As an Electrical Project Engineer you will play a pivotal role in project development & the implementation process. You will work closely with the UK Regional Manager as well as a multidisciplinary team of engineers & industry experts to deliver cutting-edge projects.

Role & responsibilities:

Reporting to the Project Manager & Design Manager on project controls progress & risk

Review & interpret project documents (specifications, drawings etc)

Support with design reviews & analysing supplier information for alignment with project documents

Develop & manage technical submittals, RFIs, procurement registers, trackers & associated duties

Coordination with other trades & disciplines

Support various project meetings where appropriate

Work with the BIM team to capture all electrical aspects of the project requirements

Support weekly project reporting

Support QA/QC on site, system walkdowns & project handover protocols

Requirements

LV/MV experience required

Degree Qualification in an Electrical Engineering discipline

Experience in Life Science, Data Centre and Pharmaceutical projects is advantageous, demonstrating your understanding of industry best practices and technologies

3+ years’ experience with an electrical contractor

Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients & external partners

Excellent organisational & planning skills

Proficiency in MS Office systems, BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, Dialux, Amtech
