Based in East Kilbride, we specialise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of door types, ensuring safety and efficiency for our customers across Scotland & northern England.  

As we continue to grow, we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team. 

The Role 

As a mobile engineer, you will play a vital role in our operations, responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of various door types at customer sites. Your duties will include:  

  • Responding to emergency callouts and conducting repairs on industrial roller doors, high-speed doors, sectional overhead doors, roller shutters, and hinged steel doors. 
  • Conducting fault finding and diagnosis, while advising customers on potential issues and solutions. 
  • Completing electronic job sheets and maintaining clear communication with clients and team members.  
  • This position requires a commitment to a standard 40-hour work week, with opportunities for overtime as and when required. 

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills and a self-motivated, enthusiastic attitude. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Organised yet flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing workloads. 
  • Physically capable of manual work, including lifting and using mechanical aids. 
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial engineering and door installation & maintenance is required. 
  • Driving License 
  • IPAF Certificate 
  • PASMA Certificate 
  • NVQ Level 2 in Door & Gate Systems – Installation & Maintenance 
  • Level 2 Award in Industrial & Garage Door Safety 
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) 
  • MIG, ARC & TIG Welding Experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential)
