Key Responsibilities:
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will:
- Provide remote technical assistance via email, phone, and remote PC login sessions.
- Conduct on-site support, performing in-depth diagnostics when remote solutions are not feasible.
- Commission systems installed by our customers, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
- Support the sales team with site surveys, reviewing technical specifications, and preparing AutoCAD drawings for installation planning.
- Offer technical expertise on product performance and application, helping customers with troubleshooting and system configurations.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for a motivated and technically skilled individual with the following qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support or field engineer role.
- Strong understanding of electronics, IT systems, and security equipment (intercom, access control, CCTV).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach and ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to customers.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
What We Offer:
- Salary: Competitive package ranging from £28,000 to £39,000 (negotiable based on experience).
- Bonus: Yearly bonus between £2,000 - £4,000.
