A Secondary school in Chelmsford are looking to appoint a full-time Business Teacher, to cover and support the Department. The position is suitable for an ECT or Experienced Teachers for an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Business Studies to students in KS3/4, with focus on providing engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to learn. You will be expected to plan, mark and attend parents evening. 

Responsibilities:

-          Develop and deliver creative and effective Business lessons to students

-          Create lesson plans, assessments and assignments that align with the curriculum

-          Monitor and track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents

-          Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and student well-being

-          Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school-related activities

Requirements:

-          Bachelor's degree in Business or related field

-          Hold QTS (preferred)

-          Experience teaching Business Studies to students in KS3/4

-          Strong knowledge of the curriculum and pedagogy

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-          Ability to work effectively as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
