About the Role:
Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? Join us as a Community Wellbeing Officer, where you'll play a pivotal role in creating a safe, supportive environment for individuals at our Wethersfield accommodation site.
In this role, you'll be a guiding presence, providing crucial support and safeguarding to our residents while fostering a sense of community and wellbeing. You'll manage your own caseload of residents, working closely with other dedicated professionals to oversee their journey to safe, permanent housing. From welfare checks and property management to partnering with external agencies, this role offers an opportunity to positively impact lives daily.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting Residents:
- Be the first point of contact, offering guidance, support, and safeguarding to residents.
- Conduct regular check-ins to ensure their wellbeing and assist them through key transitions.
Property Management:
- Oversee property conditions, report defects, and coordinate quick fixes to maintain a comfortable and safe living space for residents.
Collaborative Work:
- Partner with internal teams and external support agencies, contributing to a unified approach to resident care.
- Participate in team meetings, share insights, and help create a supportive environment for your colleagues.
Emergency Response:
- Respond proactively to urgent situations, providing assurance and clear guidance to maintain resident safety.
Administration and Reporting:
- Keep accurate records of all interactions and activities, ensuring seamless communication and continuous improvement in our services.

Salary: £26,215 - £40,660 per annum
Hours: 48 hours per week (12-hour shifts, days and nights, 07:00 - 19:00 and 19:00 - 07:00)
