Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Newham
Salary: £90 - £100 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Working Hours: 08:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to become an integral member of our dynamic school team. You will work closely with passionate educators and support staff to ensure students with SEN receive high-quality care and education that empowers them to succeed.
Key Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:- Morning Support: Provide focused support to students with SEMH needs, including those managing ADHD and other behavioural challenges.
- Afternoon Flexibility: Offer adaptable support across Key Stages 1 and 2, tailoring assistance to suit each student's unique learning requirements.
- Inclusive Environment: Help foster a welcoming and positive learning space where every student feels encouraged.
- Collaborative Approach: Work alongside teachers and the SENCO to develop and deliver individualised support plans and interventions.
- Building Confidence: Develop trusting relationships with students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.

- Experience: Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Knowledge: A strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection is essential.
- Team Player: Able to work collaboratively within a team and independently when needed.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with students and staff.
- Relevant Qualifications: Any relevant qualifications or training in education, SEN, or child development are desirable.
