Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate SEMH Teacher to join a Worcester based Alternative Provision School with an immediate start. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with students with SEMH needs and a proven track record of creating engaging and effective learning experiences. This role involves full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH.
- Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for each student.
- Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
- Provide targeted support and interventions to help students achieve their potential.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
- Strong understanding of SEMH policies and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student success.
