Are you ready to take the lead in a fast-growing cybersecurity organisation, backed by a major IT provider? We’re seeking a natural team player with a ‘safe hands’ approach who knows when to escalate and can be relied upon to lead with integrity as SOC Manager.
This is an opportunity to make the SOC best-in-class, driving efficiency and effectiveness through automation and leading your team to deliver for clients that are critical to national infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities across the organisation’s digital estate.
  • Utilise threat intelligence to produce comprehensive reports and inform incident response actions.
  • Contribute to policy development, enhancing SOC tools, processes, and standards.
  • Establish and enforce processes that maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance with SLAs.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity, with experience in a SOC leadership role.
  • Strong background with SIEM (Sentinel preferably), EDR, DNS, and email security tools, and familiarity with Windows, Linux, and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative team-orientated attitude
This is a hybrid role based in Surrey, with 3 days a week in the office Monday to Friday 9-5 with flexibility on hours both side.
  
Salary £65,000 - 75,000 plus BUPA Healthcare, pension contribution and car salary sacrifice scheme.
