£35,000 - £40,000/annum

Carbon60 are looking for a Control Panel / Equipment Test Engineer to work for a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across the chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewable and food & beverage markets.


This position is a Permanent position offering up to £40,000 depending on skill and experience.

  • Inspection, Test and Commissioning of Electrical and Instrumentation panels / systems in house and on site if required.
  • To carry out Inspection, Testing and Commissioning of Electrical and Instrumentation panels / systems in house and on site as required.
  • To ensure all work is completed to specification and deadlines.
  • To liaise with the customer on site to ensure completion of the works.
  • To assist in the building and wiring of control panels when required. Attend sites to complete modifications to existing / new panels when required.


Qualifications

  • City & Guilds- 2391 Test & Inspection.
  • City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition.
  • Time served electrician/instrument technician.
  • Experience of testing industrial control panels, on site installation work, commissioning of systems, instrumentation and control panel wiring.
  • Small bore pipe pressure testing.
  • Knowledge and understanding of 3 phase systems, MCC control panels, PLC systems and schematics drawings.
