Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a global leading engineering manufacturer for hydraulic and fluid power systems.
 
Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will work remotely covering Southern Ireland (Dublin-Cork) responsible for developing existing key accounts as well as generating new business opportunities, selling hydraulic products including clamps, valves, hydraulic filters, connectors, pressure gauges, and other hydraulic accessories and fluid power systems into various industries via distribution and OEM customers.
 
The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling or managing key accounts for industrial machinery such as hydraulic systems, fluid power, mechanical fittings, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulic hoses, couplings, valves, pumps, compressed air, pipework, or any technical sales role involving equipment related to industrial hydraulics.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role

• Will have a primary focus on selling and managing key accounts for hydraulic systems and fluid power products into various industries via distribution and OEM customers.
• Responsible for developing existing key accounts as well as generating new business opportunities, selling hydraulic products and services including clamps, valves, hydraulic filters, connectors, pressure gauges, and other hydraulic accessories and fluid power systems across Southern Ireland.
• Maintaining hydraulic sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
• Working closely with the Hydraulic Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
• Work remotely / field based covering the South of the Ireland with regular visits to customer sites.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.

 
Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements

• Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar with experience selling hydraulic or fluid power systems.
• Familiar with selling industrial machinery such as hydraulic systems, fluid power, mechanical fittings, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulic hoses, couplings, valves, pipework, or any technical sales role involving equipment related to hydraulics, or industrial machinery /components.
• Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed, grow, and bring on new business within the Hydraulic and Fluid Power markets.
• Full clean driving license.
• Hydraulic Service Engineers looking for progression into sales are encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to operate remotely with regular travel to customer sites across the South of Ireland (Dublin – Cork)
