This role requires a meticulous Credit Controller to join a dynamic Accounting & Finance team in the aviation industry on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in Hounslow, the successful candidate will be responsible for upholding an efficient and robust financial control environment

Description

Credit Controller responsibilities:

• Managing the sales ledger and ensuring prompt payment of invoices.
• Conducting credit checks on new customers.
• Setting up terms and conditions of credit
• Negotiating and resolving disputes
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting on collection activity
• Collaborating with the wider Accounting & Finance team to improve processes
• Liaising with customers regarding financial issues
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

• A strong academic background, preferably with a focus on Accounting & Finance
• Proficient skills in numerical analysis and financial reporting
• Exceptional communication skills for effective negotiation
• Strong organisational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• A keen eye for detail and a strong desire for accuracy
• The ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards

Job Offer

Credit Controller:

• Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 per annum
• FTC - 12 month contract
