Job Role: Mechanical Project Engineer

Salary: £400 - £450 / day

Location: Hassocks

Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer for a long-term contract position based in West Sussex. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering non-infrastructure water capital projects and delivering forward-thinking engineering as we come to a close on AMP7 schemes and AMP8 just around the corner!

About the role:

  • Developing project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans.
  • Collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinating logistics, procurement, and on-site activities.
  • Preparing project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends, and recommending necessary actions.
  • Compile engineering specifications to generate supply chain inquiries.
  • Review and create detailed and accurate Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Conduct site surveys, including taking measurements, photos, and gathering necessary operational information

About you:

  • UK Water project experience
  • Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Degree or equivalent
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
