Are you an experienced Laser operative looking for a new challenge in Aerospace engineering?
Verus Recruitment Partners are pleased to be supporting a South Yorkshire-based leading international aerospace manufacturer in the recruitment of an experienced Laser operator on a full-time, permanent basis due to continued growth and projects.
As my client’s Laser operator, you would be responsible for the daily setup and operation of Laser machinery. You will ensure that the parts made are compliant and in line with the requirements, drawings, and specifications.

As my client’s Laser operator, you would be responsible for the daily setup and operation of Laser machinery. You will ensure that the parts made are compliant and in line with the requirements, drawings, and specifications.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Set Laser Cutting fixtures to machine Dutum’s.
- perform laser cutting operations of the components manufactured.
- Use the correct tools and equipment for the operation or work, including relevant safety equipment and protective clothing provided.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Ensure products are to the correct tolerances and meet customer as well as internal standards and specifications (NADCAP and AS9100 standards)
- Minimum 3 years of laser Operation experience.
- Experience working to production targets.
- Be a team player.
What would make you stand out? (Desirable)
- Have experience working in Aerospace manufacturing.
- Experience operating Trumpf machinery
- Understanding of Lean principles (5S)
- NVQ/Qualification in Engineering
