Contract Scotland is currently seeking a Development & Proposals Co-Ordinator to join our client at their head office in Inverkeithing - this position may involve occasional travel to sites.

The primary responsibility of this role involves working on bid proposals for a variety of projects, fostering relationships with existing and new clients, and playing a vital role in the business growth of the organisation.

As a key member of the pre-construction department, you will work alongside the Business Development Director and Estimating Manager to focus on identifying tender opportunities for prospective construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish lasting relationships with all current and prospective customers.
- Develop a proactive sector strategy for targeting key companies and individuals in line with the business plan.
- Actively contact the current client base to identify new tender opportunities.
- Review weekly industry reports and planning portals to highlight any projects of interest.
- Ensure compliance with bid management processes.
- Deliver core services on project bids.
- Input to monthly reporting.
- Meet all deadlines for bid return dates and as may be otherwise set by management.
- Perform other duties as required by senior management.
- Attend tender launch meetings and participate in brainstorming sessions on how to submit a successful tender.
- Complete the pre-qualification process.
- Deliver compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer-defined timeframes.
- Coordinate and review/edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from estimating, planning, construction management, commercial, contract, and delivery team
- Utilize proposal automation software and assist in document template management in line with bid management processes.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the organization's Economic and Social Governance (ESG) programs.

Experience:
- A proactive individual with a passion for proposal coordination.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience within the Construction industry
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
