We are partnered with a reputable global consultancy that are looking for a Base 24 Architect to work on a very exciting LONG-TERM CONTRACT in the Banking Sector.

Role: Base 24 Architect

Rate: Up to £500 per day (inside IR35)

Location: Wiltshire, South West UK

Style: Hybrid 

Duration: 6 months (initially – view to extend)

The Role:

• 10+ years of strong development experience in HP nonstop TAL/COBOL programming
• Must be familiar with BASE24 Classic modules, Architecture and coding standard.
• Should be able to translate business requirement into specific system, application or process design direction for BASE24 application.
• Responsible for synthesizing customer requirement, the technology stack, and the construction of BASE24 application. Understand and refine product and business requirement.
• Ability to develop, debug and review the BASE24 code as per standards.
• Be in position to work as an independent contributor of all BASE24 development project. Ability to lead a team of base24 developers as a needed by project.
• Lead design and implementation phase including mentoring to peers.
• Experience on payment industry/Online transaction (ISO8583).
• Excellent knowledge POS, payment terminal, Card scheme specification (VISA, Mastercard)
• CARD payment domain expert with excellent knowledge of transaction authorizations, Issuer process, Acquiring process, payment features and gateway, Tokenization and other payment channel and financial transaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Problem-solving and troubleshooting with payment processing solutions.
• Define and clarify technical tasks to implement a project.
• Review of solution definition and product requirement documents.
• Capable of working as SME,
• Coordinating with various stake holders.
