Elevation's Recruitment Division are pleased to be working with an integral public-sector organisation based in Sheffield, in their search for a Learning and Development Advisor on a 10 month fixed term basis. This role sits within a growing team that has almost doubled in size over the last year. This role reflects the level of investment that the organisation is committed to putting into their Learning and development strategy.

The role of Learning and Development Advisor will involve delivering training at all levels throughout the organisation, both in person and over teams. This person will also be responsible for facilitating open discussion between colleagues around continual change and improvement. Whilst there are already some great resources available, there will be an element of design and sourcing training material also.

Other responsibilities include;

- Leading inductions for new colleagues joining the business
-Supporting and working closely with the wider HR team
- Working with subject matter experts to provided engaging and informative development opportunities for the wider business
-Using the Learning Management (LMS) system to track attendance and create learning pathways

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering training to both small groups and larger audiences. Experience with face-to-face delivery is essential. Above all else, the successful candidate will be confident and engaging and able to present to a variety of different audiences with ease.
