Quality Assurance Manager
Join a Leading Ingredients Manufacturer.
My client, a renowned ingredients food manufacturer based in Somerset, is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their Technical team. This role is vital for leading and managing quality assurance functions to ensure food safety across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
• Maintain BRCGS certification through policy development and audits.
• Lead HACCP and TACCP teams, chairing meetings and reviewing safety plans.
• Oversee scheduled audits, product recall exercises, and culture surveys.
• Data analysis of customer complaints and quality metrics to prevent issues.
• Manage environmental standards programs, including microbiological testing and water quality analysis.
• Ensure food safety training with HR and Operations.
The candidate:
• A degree in food science (or related field).
• HACCP Level 3.
• Experience working to BRC standards.
• Has previously worked in a food manufacturing environment.
What’s on Offer?
• £35,000 - £40,000 DOE.
• Hybrid.
